How to "Turn off" trending on Google search

If you want to turn off trending on Google Search, follow these steps:

Open your web browser and go to the Google Search homepage.

Click on the Settings icon located at the bottom right corner of the page.

Select
Search Settings from the drop-down menu.

Scroll down to the Search results section and look for the Autocomplete with trending searches option.

Toggle the switch to the Off/Do not show popular searches position to turn off trending searches.

Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Once you've turned off trending searches, Google will no longer show you the latest trending topics in your search suggestions or results. Instead, your search results will be based solely on your search terms and preferences.
